Meet Our Legal Team

Mr. Dakoyannis is the founding partner of the firm.  He has extensive experience in civil and commercial matters concentrating his practice in the areas of residential real estate, commercial real estate, residential and commercial conveyancing and financing transactions, commercial and residential leasing, landlord/tenant matters, business law, limited liability companies, trusts, corporations, estate planning, and probate.

Prior to the formation of The Law Offices of Louis J. Dakoyannis, LLC, Mr. Dakoyannis served as a law clerk to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, and was an associate with the accounting firm of Coopers and Lybrand where he worked on sophisticated tax planning issues involving corporations, partnerships, individuals, sole proprietorships and non-profit entities. 

 

Mr. Dakoyannis received his B.S. cum laude from Northeastern University in 1986, his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1990, and his LLM from Boston University School of Law in 1991. He is a member of the Northeastern University Alumni Association, the Suffolk University Law School Alumni Association, and the Boston University School Law Alumni Association. 

 

Mr. Dakoyannis is admitted to practice before the Massachusetts General Courts, U.S. District Court of Massachusetts, United States Tax Court, and the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Bureau.  Mr. Dakoyannis is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts, and the Hellenic Bar Association. Mr. Dakoyannis is an authorized title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Company and Old Republic Title Insurance Company.
